Although surgical treatments such as facelifts work well to tightening ageing skin, they do little to improve skin texture & quality. Cost, down-time as well as the greater potential for complications & scarring reduce their attractiveness.

Once upon a time, before the advent of IPL and Laser, Dermatologists used medical-strength chemical peels routinely for skin rejuvenation.

These days, at Clinic One, we use chemical peels for two main reasons:

1. After patients have had a laser or IPL, as a regular cosmetic maintenance treatment, to prolong effect in a cost-effective manner.
2. In combination with intensive cream treatment for stubborn acne.
