Psoriasis is a disorder characterised by formation of pink plaques covered with scales on different skin areas. Since it is a life-long condition, is usually has a significant physical and emotional impact on affected individuals. Fortunately, the advances in the knowledge of the causes of psoriasis have enabled the development of new effective treatment options.
Treatment modalities we are offering in our practice are Narrowband UVB phototherapy, Hand and Foot PUVA, tablet medications (such as Vitamin A-like tablets) and the newer range of so called biologic medications.
This UVB light therapy is a safe and effective treatment option for a number of skin conditions such as chronic eczema, Psoriasis, and Vitiligo.
Our dermatologists have extensive experience in the use of Narrowband Phototherapy for the treatment of skin disorders.
