Referrals

We welcome referrals from GPs and specialists for the assessment and management of skin, hair and nail conditions. Our dermatologist-led team provides care across general, medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Sending a referral

To assist with triage, please include the reason for referral, relevant clinical history, previous treatments and any supporting investigations, pathology results or clinical images. Please also ensure the patient’s contact details are current.

What happens next?

With strong demand for dermatological care and limited specialist availability across the region, we receive a significant volume of referrals. All referrals are individually reviewed and triaged by our specialists, allowing us to prioritise patients according to clinical need.

This process can take up to 10 calendar days. Once triage is complete, our administration team will contact the patient directly to arrange an appointment.

Please allow time for this process. There is no need to call the clinic to confirm receipt or request an appointment immediately after a referral has been sent.

If the patient has not heard from our team within 14 calendar days of the referral being sent, please contact the clinic to follow up.

Urgent referrals

If your referral requires urgent assessment, please clearly mark URGENT at the top of the referral and include the clinical reasons for prioritisation. For particularly time-sensitive or high-risk presentations, please also call the clinic directly to discuss the referral.

Our team will make every effort to accommodate urgent referrals within a clinically appropriate timeframe, subject to availability. If the patient’s condition changes or their care becomes more urgent while awaiting an appointment, please contact the clinic with updated clinical information.
